Rick has been doing real estate appraisals and forestry in the Hudson Valley for well over 35 years. The start was in the Catskills (Catskill Real Estate Appraisals, Acorn Forestry), then Landforms, a real estate brokerage/forestry/consulting/appraisal company, and now in the Capital District. Rick is generally certified in NY and VT, qualified as an expert witness in State Supreme Court and federal bankruptcy court, a Certified Forester (CF), and holds the Accredited Rural Appraiser (ARA) designation. After 30 years as the appraiser for Farm Credit East in the Greenwich office, he has retired from there and is on his own terms.
